About John Corcoran
John was born and raised in New Jersey and vacationed in Boca Grande at an early age visiting relatives. He always knew that one day he would work and live in this little piece of "Paradise". John graduated in 1981 from Don Bosco Prep High School in Ramsey, New Jersey and went on to receive a BBA Degree from Pace University in New York. John grew up working in the family trucking and warehousing business with his brother Brian and father Ray until they sold it in 1998. This is when the Corcoran family decided to make their dreams come true and move permanently to Florida.John enjoys the beaches of the Gulf of Mexico and boating and swimming in the tropical blue waters. Another passion of his is horseback riding and equestrian show jumping with his thoroughbred Knight Shade.
In 2002 John became a Realtor and has focused his efforts on the Cape Haze Peninsula and the barrier islands, Boca Grande and Equestrian properties in the area. Since 2002 he has been a Top Producer. John received his Broker Associate license in 2008. Working together in real estate with his brother Brian Corcoran they have developed a great reputation. John can now be found at our newest office located at the Boca Grande North clubhouse handling sales and managing rentals for our vacation rental company, Boca Grande Vacations.
